DEATH SCENESMy interest in photographing death scenes has been fuelled by a pleasure in dealing with subjects generally avoided. Using a range of settings and scenarios to illustrate various scenes of my unnatural demise. These images are punctuated with details of the decaying spaces in which one might expect to find a scene of misadventure. In Death Scenes I am looking at my own experiences of loss, inevitable death, and the simple truth that life at any point may undergo a random act of intervention. I intend for the viewer to become a witness to my own explorations of violence and mortality.
